Day 1 Istanbul – Tokyo
Gather in front of the Turkish Airlines counter at Istanbul Airport International Departures Terminal 3 hours prior to departure. After your ticket, baggage and passport procedures, depart on Turkish Airlines flight TK0050 at 15:25 to Tokyo.
Day 2 Tokyo
Arrive at Tokyo at 08:45. After arrival and baggage claim, we transfer from the airport to the city center. Our first stop is to the Asakusa/Senso-ji Temple, the oldest Shinto temple famous for its large lanterns that capture the atmosphere of Tokyo. We cross the huge Kaminarimon (Thunder Gate) and then visit Nakamise Street, an authentic open-air shopping street with over 70 shops where you can buy souvenirs and taste local street food. Then we continue to Ginza, Japan’s luxury shopping center and possibly the most famous street in the world, which has been a gold leaf trading district until 1800, named from the kanji for “silver” (gin) and “shop” (za). At the end of the day, we visit Shibuya, known for the world’s busiest pedestrian crossing and Hachiko statue, where we walk among thousands of people. After the tour, transfer to our hotel. Accommodation in Tokyo hotel.

Day 3 Tokyo-Kamakura-Yokohama-Tokyo
After breakfast at our hotel, we continue to explore Tokyo’s oldest town, Kamakura. Kamakura was the first shogunate system. We start our visit with Kotoku-in, a Buddhist temple of the Jodo-shu sect. The temple is famous for the Great Buddha of Kamakura, one of Japan’s most iconic symbols. Then we visit Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine, one of Japan’s most important Shinto shrines, and Komachi-dori street where you can experience the city’s traditional atmosphere. Afterwards, we head to Yokohama, Japan’s third largest city, with a population of 3.7 million. Here we visit Yokohama Chinatown, Japan’s largest Chinese district with a 160-year history. We also visit the famous Cup Noodle Museum. At the end of the tour, we have free time in Minato Mirai, one of the most central districts of the city. Then we transfer to our hotel. Accommodation in Tokyo hotel.

Day 4 Tokyo – Mount Fuji – Hakone – Lake Ashi – Tokyo
After breakfast, we depart for Hakone & Mount Fuji tour. With a height of 3776 meters, Mount Fuji was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 2013 and is Japan's highest mountain, known for its elegant conical shape. It is the country’s sacred symbol, with temples and shrines on and around the volcano. First, we visit Oshino Hakkai, a charming village with a mountain view. Here, we drink water from Mount Fuji and try local dishes. The village shops offer regional souvenirs and local delicacies, including the famous Japanese mochi mugwort rice cake. We enjoy the breathtaking scenery with a Lake Ashi boat tour. Then, we take a cable car up to the Owakudani Valley, known as “Great Boiling Valley.” Afterward, we transfer back to our Tokyo hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 5 Tokyo – Osaka
After breakfast, we take the high-speed Shinkansen train to the capital of Osaka. Upon arrival, we start our city tour. Osaka, which means "Big Hill" or "Great Slope," is Japan’s food capital and the third-largest city. Our city tour begins with Osaka Castle, built in the 16th century, one of the finest examples of Japanese architecture. The castle was commissioned by Toyotomi Hideyoshi, who unified Japan in the 16th century, employing an average of 100,000 workers. Next, we visit Dotonbori, Osaka’s famous entertainment and dining district, with neon signs, street food, and shopping. After free time in the city, we transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Route: Osaka – Kyoto 56 km
Day 6 Osaka – Kyoto – Osaka
After breakfast at our hotel, we start a full-day tour of Kyoto. First, we visit Kinkaku-ji, the Golden Pavilion, a Zen temple with its top two floors covered in gold leaf, and a pond garden that is the epitome of traditional Japanese scenery, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Next, we visit Fushimi Inari Taisha, famous for its thousands of torii gates dedicated to the rice deity Inari. This shrine is decorated with fox statues, Inari's messengers. In the historic Gion district, known for geishas, we walk through streets and then visit the Bamboo Forest Park. After the tour, we return to Osaka. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 7 Osaka – Nara – Kobe – Osaka
After breakfast, we continue our tour visiting Nara, the ancient capital of Japan (710), known for its large and old temples. First, we visit Todaiji Temple, the largest wooden structure in the world, which houses one of Japan’s largest bronze Buddha statues (Daibutsu). Then, we visit Nara Park, where friendly deer, considered messengers of the gods, roam freely and can be fed with crackers sold nearby. Next, we proceed to Kobe, one of Japan's 10 major cities, famous for its meat, as well as being a port city and Sake producer. Our first stop is Kobe Mosaic, a shopping and entertainment district. Then, we visit the Kobe Earthquake Memorial Museum, which includes realistic images of the disaster, history of recovery, and interactive disaster prevention activities. After the tour, we transfer to our hotel. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 8 Osaka – Rinku Premium Outlet – Istanbul
After breakfast and free time, we head to Rinku Premium Outlet, one of Japan’s largest outlet malls with many stores. Here, there is free time for shopping at international and Japanese brands at reasonable prices. We then transfer to the airport. After ticketing, baggage, and passport procedures, depart from Turkish Airlines flight TK0087 at 22:50 to Istanbul. We arrive in Istanbul at 05:40 the next day.
