Day 1 Istanbul - Berlin
Meeting in front of the Turkish Airlines counter at the International Departures Terminal of Istanbul Airport at 05:45. After ticketing and passport procedures, we depart for Berlin at 08:45 on Turkish Airlines’ scheduled flight TK1721. Following our arrival in Berlin at 09:45 local time, we embark on a panoramic city tour accompanied by our guide. During our tour, we will have the opportunity to see the city’s symbolic and historic landmarks panoramically. We will discover Berlin’s most important sights, including the Victory Column, Tiergarten Park, Brandenburg Gate, Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe, Checkpoint Charlie, East Side Gallery (remains of the Berlin Wall), Kurfürstendamm Avenue and KaDeWe Department Store, accompanied by our guide’s commentary. At the end of the tour, transfer to our hotel and, after check-in, time to rest and free time. Overnight at our hotel.
Day 2 Berlin
Wake up at your leisure and enjoy a free day. Those who wish may join the Dresden tour, organized as an optional extra. Following the tour, transfer to our hotel. Overnight at our hotel.
Optional Tour: Dresden Tour – €80 per person
On this tour, we set out to discover Dresden, one of Germany’s most elegant and historic cities, known as the “Florence of the Elbe.” We reach Dresden after a pleasant journey of approximately two hours from Berlin.
During our city tour, the Zwinger Palace, notable for its Baroque architecture; the Semperoper, one of Europe’s most magnificent opera houses; the Frauenkirche, one of the city’s landmarks with its impressive dome; Brühl’s Terrace (the Balcony of Europe); and the banks of the Elbe River will be among the sights viewed panoramically.
Following our walking tour in the historic city center, free time will be given for shopping and exploring the surroundings. After the free time, we return to Berlin and our hotel.
Day 3 Berlin
Wake up at your leisure and enjoy a free day. Guests who wish may join the Potsdam & Berlin Designer Outlet Tour. Transfer to our hotel after the tour. Overnight at our hotel.
Optional Tour: Potsdam & Berlin Designer Outlet Tour – €75 per person
We depart for Potsdam, located approximately 40 minutes from Berlin and one of the most important cities of the Kingdom of Prussia. During our panoramic tour of this elegant city, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List, Sanssouci Palace, known as the summer palace of the Prussian kings, with its extensive gardens and impressive architecture, will be among the sights viewed. We will also see the Dutch Quarter, Potsdam city center and its historic squares panoramically.
Following our Potsdam tour, we proceed to the McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Berlin shopping center near Berlin. At this outlet center, designed with an open-air concept, we have the opportunity to shop at discounts of 30%–70% throughout the year in stores of international brands. Our guests can enjoy free time here for shopping and exploring the surroundings.
Day 4 Berlin – Istanbul
After breakfast, check-out and free time. Guests who wish may join the Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp Tour. We depart for Berlin Airport at the time determined by our guide. We depart for Istanbul at 14:30 on Turkish Airlines’ scheduled flight TK1726. After check-in and baggage procedures, we arrive at Istanbul Airport at 17:30 local time, bringing our tour to an end. Optional Tour: Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp Tour – €70 per person
On this tour, we visit the Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp Memorial, one of the most important historical sites from the period of World War II. Located approximately 35 km north of Berlin, this camp was established by the Nazi regime in 1936 and became one of the most important concentration camps where tens of thousands of people were held during the war years.
During our visit accompanied by our guide, we receive detailed information about the camp’s main entrance gate, watchtowers, prisoner barracks, memorial areas and museum sections. We have the opportunity to learn firsthand about the camp’s history, the events that took place during the Nazi period and the effects of World War II on humanity.
