Day 1 ISTANBUL – DÜSSELDORF
December 16, 26 / Wednesday Meeting at the Turkish Airlines counter in front of the International Terminal of Istanbul Airport at the designated time, check-in and passport procedures, then departure to Düsseldorf on Turkish Airlines flight TK 1523 at 08:00 and arrival at 09:20 local time. After arrival from Düsseldorf, transfer to our ship via the vehicle waiting for us at the airport.. Check-in procedures will be done after 14:00. For guests who wish, an extra tour of Cologne & Düsseldorf, one of Germany's most popular cities.. Afterwards, transfer to our ship and check-in procedures are carried out. Our ship departs from Düsseldorf today at 17:00.
Day 2 KOBLENZ - ROMANTIC RHINE GORGE TRANSIT - RUDESHEIM
December 17, 26 / Thursday We will dock at Koblenz port at 06:00 in the morning. Guests who wish can join the extra tour organized by our guide, which includes seeing the Moselle river as well, the Koblenz and Mountain Cable Car Tour. We go up to Ehrenbreitstein Fortress by cable car and from there we see the famous German Corner of Koblenz and the confluence of the Rhine and Moselle rivers with a bird's-eye view. Afterwards, we take a walking tour in Koblenz and visit the Christmas Market. Our ship will depart from Koblenz port at 12:00. The Romantic Rhine Transit, the most beautiful part of the Rhine River, is taking place. During this cruise, more than 20 castles from the Middle Ages and magnificent views can be seen. After our ship arrives in Rüdesheim at 19:00 in the evening, it will remain in the port until 01:30 at night.
Day 3 WORMS - SPEYER
December 18, 26 / Friday We arrive at Worms port at 09:00 in the morning. After a short technical break, our ship will head towards Speyer at 09:30. Our ship, which will arrive in Speyer at 12:30 noon, will depart from Speyer at 20:00 in the evening.
You can join the extra Heidelberg tour with your guests who wish. We tour the city of Heidelberg, where the majority of the population consists of students. Heidelberg is also famous for its printing presses and printing machines named after the city. Among the places to see are Heidelberg Castle, the giant barrel Grosses Fass exhibited in the castle cellars, Carl-Theodor Brücke, known among the public as the Old Bridge (Alte Brücke), and Heiligegeistkirche (Historical Church) located right in the center of the old town. After the tour, return to our ship waiting for us at Speyer port.
Day 4 STRASBOURG
December 19, 26 / Saturday We arrive at Strasbourg port at 08:00 in the morning. Our ship will remain anchored in Strasbourg tonight.
In the morning, we start the extra Strasbourg and Colmar City tour with our guests. Strasbourg, which was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1988, also houses the Council of Europe and the European Parliament. As the seventh largest city in France by population, we first visit the European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg. After the photo break in front of the building, we come to the historic city and begin our walking tour. In this tour, historic streets, Notre Dame Cathedral, Rohan Palace, Kammerzehl, shopping streets and Kleber Square are among the places to see. Afterwards, we walk to the Petit France (Little France) neighborhood with those guests who wish. Our tour ends with free time given in the center of Strasbourg. Those who wish in Colmar can tour the city in detail with the extra mini train.
Day 5 STRASBOURG – STUTTGART - ISTANBUL
December 20, 26 / Sunday After breakfast in the morning, disembarkation procedures and before transfer to the airport where your return flight will depart, an extra panoramic Stuttgart city tour with guests who wish.. We see the New Palace and the Town Hall from the city center and the Konning Strasse shopping street. After visiting the Christmas market at Markplatz, free time and transfer to the airport. After check-in and passport control, we depart to Istanbul Airport on Turkish Airlines flight TK 1706 at 18:50 local time. After our arrival in Istanbul at 23:55 local time, our tour ends.

MS Leonora Ship Specifications
The ship, which began its voyages in 2008 under the name Avalon Scenery, was later renamed Ms Leonora. In 2025, a complete renovation was completed. The ship is 110m long, 11.40m wide, 5.85m high, and has a total of 3 decks with 67 cabins; the passenger capacity is set at 138. French balcony cabins are 16 m² in size. All cabins feature amenities such as air conditioning, TV, telephone, minibar, safe, hair dryer, clothes hanger, towels, shampoo, and more. Onboard, approximately 40 friendly staff members will serve you. Additionally, on the Sun Deck, the top deck of the ship, you can enjoy free sun loungers, tables, and seating areas to fully savor the river experience. At the restaurant section on the lowest deck of the ship, you can have your breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the table specified onboard. In the Club Lounge Bar area prepared for you at the rear of the ship, you can spend pleasant time playing card games, backgammon, okey, and other games. In the Lounge section located at the entrance of the ship, you can follow local shows, presentations about rivers, ‘’Welcome’’ and ‘’Farewell Cocktail’i’’ events, and activities like ‘’Tea & Coffee Hour refreshments’’. Furthermore, thanks to the Turkish program delivered to your cabins every night, you can easily follow the schedule for the next day.

Important information regarding your flight;
* The airport meeting time is generally 2 hours and 30 minutes before the flight, and details will be communicated separately 2 days prior to the tour departure. Due to security checks at European airports, your transfer to the airport for tour returns will be made 3 hours in advance.
* Departure and arrival times are local times and are determined by the airlines..
* There is limited quota for domestic connections; availability must be checked during final reservation and the transaction completed subsequently.
* Cities other than Ankara and Izmir that offer connections require additional confirmation.
* Confirmed domestic connections are valid only for the most suitable domestic flight within 24 hours.
* Domestic connection prices may not apply to groups. Please inquire about our special prices.
* The Operating Agency acts as an intermediary between the airline and the passenger and is subject to the Hague Protocol of 28.09.1955. There may be a risk of delay in scheduled and special flights, or times may change prior to the existing tour and flight. The Operating Agency is obliged to notify such changes as soon as possible. Our passengers have purchased the tour knowing and accepting that flight details may change.
Things you need to know about our RIVER TOURS;
- There is no minimum participant requirement for our tour. It operates with certainty in December and is conducted with a Turkish-speaking guide.
- Guests holding a General (Red) Passport require a visa. Multiple Entry / Multiple Schengen)
- Guests holding a Green Passport and Service Passport do not require a visa.
- Your passport must be valid for at least 6 months from the end date of travel and must not be older than 10 years.
- Obtaining Euros before the trip will facilitate cash payments for your shopping.
- You can request a tax refund form for purchases of 100 Euros and above. After completing customs procedures at the last point of exit from the European Union, you can process your tax refund using this form.
- There are no doctors or medical personnel on river ships. In case of emergencies, the reception will call medical teams from the nearest health facility to the ship within a very short time. However, for any medical need, our ship stops at the closest point to medical institutions to assist in urgently transferring affected guests to hospitals or similar facilities. Additionally, we recommend that you carry your regularly used medications with their prescriptions and obtain comprehensive travel health insurance.
Health services provided on board the ship and at health facilities are chargeable.
- We do not expect any issues that could threaten your health in the meals served during your ship journey. However, when you are off the ship, we advise you to be careful with food and drink, definitely consume bottled water, avoid ice, milk, and dairy products, eat meat and fish products that you are sure are well-cooked, and recommend eating fruits like bananas and pineapples whose peels can be removed.
- Since it may be possible to enter different countries during your trip, a specific time will be indicated for each port visited by the ship. Since your disembarkation and boarding will be according to the local time of the port you are in, please adjust your schedules accordingly.
- During the river ship voyage, especially when crossing borders, if your mobile phone line is open for international calls (roaming), it is being used. Sometimes, signal loss may occur on your mobile phone due to the lack of base stations in forested areas.
- During your trip, for the Captain's Welcome & Farewell Cocktail nights, we recommend that male guests bring a suit and female guests bring an evening dress. If traveling in summer, we suggest bringing easy-to-wear t-shirts, short and long-sleeved shirts, cotton trousers, shorts, comfortable walking shoes, a light jacket for evenings, and a thin sweater. Additionally, you may bring hats, sunglasses, sunscreen, earplugs against possible noise, cameras, video cameras, and their chargers and spare memory cards. In winter, we recommend clothing that allows comfortable movement and keeps you warm. During navigation, the open areas of the ship can be cool in all seasons.
- Main meals, breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served in the main restaurant on board. Additionally, afternoon tea and light snacks are served in the lounge area on the upper deck.
- The electrical sockets in the cabins are the same as in Turkey.
- Accommodations in hotels before or after our river ship program may not be of the same standard as our river ship. They should not be expected to provide the same services. During periods such as fairs, congresses, concerts, events, sports tournaments, etc., hotels may be used at distances greater than the specified km. Triple rooms may be assigned depending on hotel availability; in such rooms, the bed provided for the 3rd person may be smaller than standard beds. Triple rooms consist of 1 large bed and 1 extra bed. Since extra beds are foldable or coach beds, participants who are the 3rd person and/or children are considered to have accepted potential crowding in the room and the type of bed.
- In services included in the tour program, if there is accommodation in a hotel other than our ship, the included breakfasts are served according to the country's breakfast culture, generally as a continental breakfast consisting of butter, jam, bread, tea, or coffee, and may be served in a separate hall allocated for the group.
SOME TECHNICAL INFORMATION ABOUT OUR RIVER TOURS;
- The times specified in the program are taken from Turkish Airlines and Scylla Cruise company. Otto Cruise is not responsible for any changes in the times. Consequently, Otto Cruise may make adjustments to the days without altering the content and service scope of the program due to any time changes.
- The durations of tours at ports, places to visit, and their order are determined by the operating company and may be changed or completely cancelled if necessary.
- Otto Cruise will not be responsible for natural disaster situations such as rising or falling river water levels that may occur in rivers, or force majeure situations such as strikes in level pools/canals or planned inability to dock at a port.
- Otto Cruise will not be responsible for out-of-program situations such as port changes, changes in arrival and departure times at ports that may occur in such situations.
- During air travel, each passenger has the right to take one piece of luggage into the cabin with dimensions of 36 cm (height) x 23 cm (width) x 56 cm (length). Additionally, each passenger has the right to take one suitcase weighing between 20 and 23 kg to be checked into the aircraft's baggage hold.
- One of the evening meals you will receive during the ship journey is a formal dinner, and guests are expected to bring formal/evening attire for this night.
- During check-in at the ship, each guest can hand over their passport and receive their cabin key. For the ship manifest and local procedures, passports may be collected in some cases. Passports will be returned on the same day.
- Guests who wish to make expenses on board using credit cards must register their credit cards at the reception within 5 days after the start of the trip. No deduction or specific amount blockage will be made on your credit card during the registration process.
- *Strict adherence to the ship's departure times is required. Boarding at the ports must be done at least 45 minutes before the ship's departure time. Otherwise, you may not be able to board the ship. Otto Cruise will not be responsible for such a situation. Transportation costs required for passengers who miss the plane or ship to rejoin the tour are their own responsibility.
- It is strictly prohibited to bring alcoholic beverages, irons, hair dryers, kettles, baby bottle warmers, electric blankets, etc., onto the ship. Hair dryers are available in every cabin, and kettles are available in many cabins.
- At the beginning of our ship journey, luggage tags of specific colors will be assigned for your suitcases. Completing these tags fully is extremely important for your suitcases to arrive correctly in your cabins.
- Your suitcases may not arrive immediately in your cabin on the first day of the ship's departure. Therefore, it is beneficial to pack your essential needs for the first day in a small handbag and take them with you.
- To familiarize yourself with evacuation procedures in case of an emergency, a safety drill and presentation will be held on the first day of your trip. Participation is extremely important. Your guides and the ship staff responsible for your room will direct you to the assembly point during the drill.
- Every evening on the ship, a detailed program for the next day will be left in your cabin. This program includes all activities on board, information about entertainment organizations, and important notes.
- We earnestly request that you take care of all your personal belongings throughout the tour. There is a safe in every cabin on board where you can store your valuables. Our agency does not accept responsibility for the loss or theft of money and valuable items left in the cabin or baggage. Assistance will be provided to send found items to you via collect-on-delivery cargo service from the country where they were found.
At the end of your ship journey, the labels left in your cabins the night before must be attached. You must place them in front of your cabin doors early in the morning, after which your suitcases will be collected and lined up in front of the buses for transfer. They will be received here by the passengers.
